Description
Deliver consistent indoor warmth while maximizing fuel usage with the Goodman GM9S960603BN, a 60,000 BTU gas furnace built to a 96 percent efficiency rating.
Engineered for upflow installations, this unit positions directly above standard supply plenums to distribute heated air through residential ductwork. The integrated multi-speed blower motor adjusts fan speed to match thermostat demand, which stabilizes room temperatures and reduces energy waste during steady-state operation. Electrical controls draw power from a standard 120-volt, one-phase circuit, allowing direct connection to most existing HVAC junction boxes without requiring special transformers.
System Configuration
The 60K BTU heat output comfortably conditions medium-to-large indoor spaces when properly sized for local climate zones. Nearly all combusted gas converts to usable room heat thanks to the near-96 percent effective efficiency ratio. The streamlined casing accommodates standard filter slots for routine maintenance access.
