Description
Item: 3426618
This matched Goodman package replaces aging outdoor and indoor units with a fully coordinated four-ton air conditioner and 120,000 BTU gas furnace designed for direct forced-air duct integration.
Coordinated Component Design
The system integrates the GLXS3BN4810 outdoor condenser, CAPTA6030D3 cased evaporator coil, and GR9S801205DN gas furnace into a single factory-tested refrigerant circuit. This pre-matching eliminates field-calibration guesswork and ensures optimal charge transfer from the 48,000 BTU cooling output through the indoor coil.
Cooling performance relies on a single-stage scroll compressor and a copper tube aluminum fin condenser housed in a louvered, powder-coated cabinet for structural protection and corrosion resistance. The 24.5-inch upflow evaporator cabinet arrives with a factory-installed thermal expansion valve and a dedicated filter drier to protect internal components during initial startup.
Heating capacity delivers 120,000 BTU input at 80 percent AFUE efficiency. A single-stage gas valve regulates fuel delivery while a multi-speed ECM blower motor modulates airflow for consistent temperature distribution and quieter operation. Combustion safety is maintained through an aluminized steel tubular heat exchanger, high and low pressure switches, and a self-diagnostic control board that logs active fault codes.
