Description
Replace aging central air and furnace hardware with a fully matched 4‑ton cooling and 100,000‑BTU heating package engineered for straightforward installation and reliable year-round climate control.
Factory-Matched Component Breakdown
The system integrates three specifically coordinated Goodman units into a single operational bundle. The external GLXS3BN4810 condenser moves 48,000 cooling capacity through a single-stage scroll compressor and copper-tube/aluminum-fin coils. It pairs directly with the CHPTA4830C3 horizontal cased evaporator, which mounts in a 21-inch cabinet and ships with a factory-installed TXV metering device. Supplemental warmth comes from the GR9S961005CN gas furnace, which processes 100,000 input BTUs via a single-stage gas valve and an aluminized-steel tubular heat exchanger driven by a multi-speed ECM blower.
Efficiency, Compliance, and Durability
This configuration utilizes R-32 refrigerant throughout the circuit, satisfying current EPA environmental mandates while improving thermodynamic efficiency over legacy blends. Running efficiencies reach 13.4 SEER2 for cooling and 96% AFUE for heating, delivering measurable utility reduction without complicating system controls. The ECM blower manages static pressure more quietly and consistently than traditional induction motors, preventing short-cycling in standard residential duct layouts. Longevity is reinforced by internal high- and low-pressure switches, a sealed factory filter drier, and a louvered powder-coated cabinet built for corrosion resistance.
- Designed, engineered, and assembled in the United States.
