Description
This matched Goodman HVAC configuration combines a 14 SEER2 air conditioner, a factory-cased evaporator coil, and an 80,000 BTU gas furnace into a single upflow package that eliminates cross-component compatibility risks during your seasonal replacement.
Matched Cooling Performance
The GLXS3BN3610 outdoor condenser connects directly to the CAPTA3626B3 upflow coil housing, delivering 3 tons of cooling capacity within a 17.5-inch cabinet footprint. A single-stage scroll compressor operates on R-32 refrigerant, meeting ongoing EPA standards while carrying a lower global warming potential than discontinued R-410A units. Factory-installed TXV metering, high- and low-pressure safety switches, and a filter drier shield the compressor during startup and load changes. The copper tube and aluminum fin coil sits inside a louvered, powder-coated cabinet designed to resist rust and UV degradation.
Consistent Heating & Blower Efficiency
The GR9S800803BN furnace provides 80,000 BTU heating input through an aluminized-steel tubular heat exchanger rated at 80% AFUE. A single-stage gas valve manages fuel delivery, while a multi-speed ECM blower modulates airflow to reduce electricity draw and lower audible operation. An integrated self-diagnostic control board tracks system faults, allowing technicians to pinpoint maintenance needs faster.
