  • Description

Replace aging equipment or finish new construction with a matched Goodman upflow HVAC package, pairing 15.2 SEER2 cooling efficiency and 96 percent AFUE heating into a single system sized for homes between 1,500 and 2,000 square feet.

The outdoor condenser (GLXS4BA3010) uses a single-stage scroll compressor, copper tube and aluminum fin coils, and a louvered powder-coated cabinet built to resist salt air and UV exposure. Inside, the CAPTA3626B3 cased evaporator coil mounts directly above the furnace and includes a factory-installed thermal expansion valve. The system runs on R-32 refrigerant, which complies with current EPA regulations due to its lower global warming potential. Built-in high- and low-pressure switches plus a factory filter drier guard the compressor against discharge spikes and debris ingress.

Winter heating relies on the GR9S960603BN gas furnace, which achieves consistent warmth through an aluminized-steel tubular heat exchanger. A single-stage gas valve works alongside a multi-speed ECM blower to maintain steady room temperatures while reducing runtime noise. An integrated control board continuously monitors ignition sequences, sensor readings, and airflow stability, logging fault codes for faster technician diagnosis.

This entire assembly is designed, engineered, and manufactured in the United States, and accepts an optional liquid-propane conversion kit for rural properties or gas-free zones. Register the system online within sixty days of professional installation to activate a ten-year parts limited warranty. Every component stacks as a unified upflow chassis, balancing static pressure, simplifying ductwork transitions, and delivering predictable seasonal operation.
