Description
Replace aging HVAC equipment and maintain consistent indoor comfort with the Goodman 2.5 Ton 14.5 SEER2 Air Conditioner and 80,000 BTU 96% AFUE Gas Furnace Upflow System. This factory-matched bundle combines an outdoor condenser, cased evaporator coil, and residential heating unit into a single configuration engineered for reliable cooling and heating across standard residential duct layouts.
Cooling Capacity and Modern Refrigeration
The GLXS4BA3010 outdoor condenser delivers 2.5 tons of cooling at a 14.5 SEER2 efficiency rating. Built around a single-stage scroll compressor, the unit utilizes R-32 refrigerant to meet current EPA environmental standards while minimizing global warming impact compared to older coolants. Internal protection includes high- and low-pressure switches and a factory-mounted filter drier, while the copper-tube and aluminum-fin coils sit inside a powder-coated, corrosion-resistant cabinet.
Heating Output and Airflow Precision
Paired with the CAPTA3026B3 upflow cased coil and a factory-installed TXV metering device, the GR9S960803BN gas furnace provides an 80,000 BTU input at 96% AFUE. An aluminized-steel tubular heat exchanger resists thermal stress, and a single-stage gas valve works alongside a multi-speed ECM blower to reduce sound output and deliver even temperature maintenance.
