Description
A complete, factory-matched Goodman HVAC package delivers 2.5-ton cooling and 92% thermal heating efficiency in a compact upflow configuration. This integrated system combines an outdoor condenser, a cased evaporator coil, and a gas furnace into a single shipment, eliminating manual cross-model matching and ensuring consistent AHRI ratings from the first startup.
System Components & Specifications
- Outdoor Condenser (GLXS4BA3010): 2.5-ton capacity, 14.5 SEER2 rating, single-stage scroll compressor, and copper tube aluminum fin coil housed in a louvered powder-coated steel cabinet.
- Cased Evaporator Coil (CAPTA3026B3): 17.5-inch deep cabinet with a factory-installed thermostatic expansion valve (TXV), pre-wired and sized to operate exactly with the outdoor unit.
- Gas Furnace (GR9S920603BN): 60,000 BTU input, 92% AFUE rating, single-stage gas valve, aluminized-steel tubular heat exchanger, and a multi-speed ECM blower motor for precise airflow and reduced operational noise.
Performance & Installation Details
The 17.5-inch cabinet depth simplifies placement in tight utility rooms or attics while maintaining standard horizontal duct routing. The system operates on R-32 refrigerant to meet current EPA guidelines, alongside high- and low-pressure switches and a factory filter drier for direct compressor safeguarding during voltage or load fluctuations. The furnace control board provides self-diagnostic fault codes to accelerate field troubleshooting. All three modules are engineered, tested, and assembled in the United States. An optional LP conversion kit enables propane fuel switching when natural gas lines are unavailable.
This three-component set ships together under a 10-year limited parts warranty, contingent upon online registration within 60 days of professional installation. Verify existing duct dimensions, circuit breaker capacity, and venting requirements with a licensed HVAC contractor prior to finalizing your order.
