  • Description

Engineered for residential spaces ranging from 1,500 to 2,000 square feet, this matched central air system delivers 30,000 BTU of cooling capacity alongside an 80,000 BTU gas furnace, removing the need for manual component matching during installation. The GLXS3BN3010 outdoor condenser connects directly to the CHPTA3026B3 indoor evaporator coil via a fully factory-charge R-32 refrigerant line set, guaranteeing immediate airflow balance and startup reliability.

    Precisely Cooled and Consistently Heated

The 2.5-ton outside unit runs at 13.8 SEER2 using a single-stage scroll compressor, a copper-tube-to-aluminum-fin coil, and a louvered, powder-coated cabinet built to resist corrosion. An internal filter drier paired with automatic high- and low-pressure cutout switches protects the compressor from moisture buildup and dangerous pressure spikes. Because the system uses R-32 refrigerant, it satisfies modern EPA guidelines while offering a significantly lower global warming impact than older blends.

Indoor temperature stability comes from the GR9S800803BN gas furnace, which maintains an 80 percent annual fuel utilization efficiency rating. A single-stage gas modulating valve controls burner cycles, while a multi-speed ECM blower motor continuously circulates air across the 17.5-inch horizontal cased coil, dampening operational noise and minimizing hot or cold spots. The aluminized-steel tubular heat exchanger houses a self-diagnostic control interface that logs fault codes and monitors combustion timing to catch service items early.

    • Horizontal indoor design fits standard ceiling plenums, attics, or mechanical rooms without structural modifications
    • Factory-wired coil and condenser pairing eliminates field-calibration steps and reduces labor time
    • Components are designed, engineered, and assembled in the United States for tighter quality control
    • Liquid propane conversion is supported when installed with the optional LP kit

Register the complete assembly online within sixty days of professional installation to activate a ten-year limited parts warranty. Whether retrofitting an aging duct system or equipping a newly framed house, this split-type HVAC arrangement provides straightforward seasonal comfort within a predictable budget profile.
