Description
Item: 1067322
Rated at 13.6 SEER2 cooling capacity and 96% Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency, this matched Goodman HVAC system delivers consistent temperature regulation for residential spaces between 1,500 and 2,000 square feet. The package ships with three factory-matched primary components:
- Outdoor Condenser (GLXS3BN3010) featuring a single-stage scroll compressor
- Downflow Cased Evaporator Coil (CAPTA3026B3) housed in a 17.5-inch cabinet with a factory TXV
- Gas Furnace (GD9T960803BN) delivering 80,000 BTU input with a multi-speed ECM blower
Heating and cooling precision rely on the two-stage gas valve working in tandem with the ECM motor. This setup modulates heat output and air circulation to maintain steady indoor temperatures while reducing energy draw and operational noise compared to conventional single-speed units. The outdoor condenser features copper tubing bonded to aluminum fins, protected by a louvered, powder-coated cabinet engineered for corrosive environments. Inside the furnace, an aluminized-steel tubular heat exchanger handles thermal cycling, while a self-diagnostic control board continuously tracks sensor data for early fault detection.
Safety and regulatory compliance are integrated directly into the hardware. The unit runs on R-32 refrigerant to meet current EPA lower-global-warming-potential standards, secured by factory-installed high- and low-pressure switches alongside a liquid-line filter drier that blocks particulate damage to the compressor. Properties serviced by propane can switch fuels using an optional LP conversion kit. Designed, engineered, and assembled in the United States, the system integrates directly into standard forced-air ductwork configured for downflow delivery.
